My Neighborhood's Story

Let’s talk about my neighborhood.

I Live in a little district with my beloved family called Kaliwungu that also known as an Islamic student’s city because there are many Islamic schools here. Kaliwungu is near with the bus station, port, hospitals, mosques, beaches, traditional markets, train station, schools, drugstores, mini markets, Industrial areas, and a lot of Madrasah (Islamic schools). My district is very popular because of our Madrasah. 

There are so many moslem scholars were born in this district. That’s why there are many people come from another cities or maybe countries just for studying about Islam or visiting moslem scholar’s tombs in a place called Jabal. It makes our district feels so noisy. The traffic is terrible and parking is a big problem.

Kaliwungu has a village named Anyar Village. I live there. My neighborhood is so safe and the house’s structure is so neat. Many people think that this is similar with the residential. Almost every house has a shady tree, that’s why my village looks beautiful and the weather is not too hot. Every house is near with others, and we have a good relation. We usually share our foods and snacks. Although we are always busy with our own business, but we always have a time for gather and meet, at least once in a month. 

Most of us are Javanesse, but there are also Indians here.

This such a comfortable district, because everything is cheap. For example is when you want to drink an ice tea with the pure sugar you will just pay about Rp1000,- until Rp1500,-

I love my district so much.
